Nandi Project (Nandi, Kenya)

Make A Mark has finalized a partnership with “Build the Village” – a faith based, non-profit organization that is also focused on addressing the plight of orphans and homeless children in Africa. Similar to Make A Mark, Build the Village has been involved in constructing schools, orphanages, clinics, and establishing other self-sustaining projects throughout the world. They also build non-denominational churches as part of their evangelical ministry.

Together, Make A Mark and Build the Village will build an orphanage and a primary school in Nandi, Kenya. The orphanage will house 50 children, and the primary school will be open to the public, generating the necessary revenue to sustain the orphanage. The title for the land has been acquired, and construction will begin shortly. In the second phase of the project, a secondary school will be built creating homes for even more orphans. The goal is to utilize revenues from the school to take care of more orphans and vulnerable children in the area.
